The second issue of the MaailmanVaihtoa – Volunteer’s Voices in 2018 explores the impact of Maailmanvaihto’s activities during its journey of 60 years.
In the editorial (p. 5) Anna Lemström talks about the feeling of belonging to Maailmanvaihto’s community: “No matter if you are an active Maailmanvaihto person, an alumni or an occasional actor, I believe that you can recognise this feeling too. And if you are not a Maailmanvaihto actor yet, you are most warmly welcome to join us. From the pages of this magazine, you may get a little glimpse of what the belonging is all about, now on our 60th anniversary year.”
In the magazine’s new series (p. 12) you can get to know one of the ICYE voluntary workplaces abroad: Centro Social Marista (CESMAR) tell about their activities and tasks for volunteers. CESMAR is a Brasilian organisation based in Porto Alegre that coordinates projects with ICYE Brasil.
