The register collects personal data that is necessary for conducting the prize draw and delivering any prizes to participants. The processing of participants’ data is based on consent.<\/p>\n
The register may contain the following categories of personal data:<\/p>\n
Name<\/p>\n
Email<\/p>\n
Phone number<\/p>\n
Information related to the prize draw<\/p>\n
Address details in cases where the prize must be sent by post<\/p>\n
Personal data is obtained from the participants in the prize draw themselves.<\/p>\n
The data will not be disclosed to third parties or used for direct marketing.<\/p>\n
Maailmanvaihto may store data in cloud services that may be located outside the EU or EEA.<\/p>\n
Only those members of Maailmanvaihto’s office staff who need the information to perform their duties may process the information contained in the register.<\/p>\n
Digitally processed personal data is stored in the office staff’s cloud service accounts or on their workstations. Accounts and workstations are protected by passwords, and workstations are also protected by security software.<\/p>\n
Data collected for prize draws is only stored for as long as it is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Personal data is deleted within one month of the prize draw being conducted and the prize being delivered.<\/p>\n
Data subjects have the right to inspect their data stored in the personal data register. The request must be made to the Maailmanvaihto Communications Officer in person or at the Maailanvaihto office address.
