Hey you, a participant of Maailmanvaihto’s activities! Are you aged 18–30 years? Do you live in Finland? Are you interested in advocacy work? How about decolonising international volunteering? Participate next February in Paris in the training of the project Decolonise International Voluntary Service!
The training is called ”Decolonising International Voluntary Service: Advocacy Training” and it will offer for twenty young people an opportunity to learn more about advocacy work and to explore together questions related to decolonising international volunteering in 19.–25.2.2023 in Paris, France.
We at Maailmanvaihto – ICYE Finland can send to the training two representatives, one of which we have already chosen. The other position is open due to a cancellation. For the open position, we are looking for such a participant of Maailmanvaihto’s activities who, at least in the light of their current plans, wants and can participate after the training in the work of the advocacy team of the project. The project will continue until August 2024.

The participants of the training will be offered accommodation and daily meals. When it comes to the travel costs from Finland to France and back, the project can cover for the participant maximum of 320 euros.
How and when to apply?
You can apply by sending us at Maailmanvaihto to tiedottaja@maailmanvaihto.fi a brief description of yourself and your motivation to participate in the training and the work of the advocacy team afterward. We will choose the participant as soon as a suitable candidate is found.
